Jaya competed in Water, Obedience, Rally, Agility and Scentwork.  Definitely a learning experience but also some great strides forward!

What a fun week we had at the PWDCA National Specialty this year!  Maura had a great week competing in Super Dog with entries in every event. She loved her time in the ring in Veterans, received Q ribbons towards her RAE in Rally, Q’s in Scentwork, another leg in Working Dog level in water, and a Q in Agility to give her a new title and a coveted Versatile Companion Dog title! A VCD1 requires titles in Obedience, Agility and Tracking. Love my Supergirl!

​Mesa had far too much fun in her first time in the Agility ring visiting all bar setters and the judge but did do some of the jumps. She Q’ed 2ce in Rally for her Rally Intermediate Title and a Q in Scentwork to earn her Container Novice title.
We were also at the Chicagoland Water Trial in July. Thank you to all who worked so hard to put on such a great event! Mesa, after working hard all summer, got her Apprentice Water Dog title. She even gave Working a great try the next day. I am so proud of this girl’s spirit and joy for all she does. She continues to amaze me. This is a FIRST water title for an Ascent Portuguese Water Dog!
